Cheetos®
Cheetos are a popular snack among American university students. This speculative ad was created for a contest in which students could win a free supply of Cheetos for the remainder of their college years. The target audience was college students ages 18-22.
Goal
The goal of the contest was to get students to enter their first names, email addresses and phone numbers into the form. The secondary goal was to get entrants to invite their friends to enter.

Bold, Fun, Exciting, Cheeky, Promotional, Urgent

Approach
It was important to quickly grab students’ attention and make the entry as easy as possible to increase the likelihood that they would enter the contest. I chose to focus on the benefit of saving money – ‘Free Cheetos’, ‘rich in tasty Cheetos’, and ‘without spending any cash’. To reduce friction to enter, I kept the copy as minimal as possible.
