Business Events Adelaide is a non-profit and industry body for business events in South Australia. It works with its members and the greater business events industry to secure national and international conferences, exhibitions, meetings and events to the state.

Goal

Members of the Business Events Adelaide team were attending an industry event and needed to drive attendance to and engagement with their exhibition stand. The marketing collateral was distributed in eDMS.

Approach

I wrote the copy to stay within a specified word limit and highlight a point of difference for the Adelaide stand: the offer of coffee and South Australian wine. The copy also played off dates of the exhibition, which fell over Valentine’s Day.
